Roux originates from French cuisine. DFI Roux is a mixture of wheat flour and vegetable fat and has a nice granular shape. It is used as a base for various types of soups and sauces. DFI Roux grains dissolve well in boiling water and gives a beautiful binding.
Our range includes both dark and white roux granules. The roux has a neutral taste and is therefore suitable for various preparations. The binder is lactose-free and suitable for vegetarian or vegan diets. DFI Roux is available in 20 kg bags or 12.5 kg buckets. Batch packaging is also possible, such as 1 kg bags of roux granules.
